I have not had such a strong want, with no REAL need, for a vehicle in quite some time...

2014 RAM W5500 4x4 Crew-Cab Mechanics Service Truck, Cummins 6.7L diesel, Auto, A/C, with IMT 3203i 4,000 lbs. material crane w/pendant control & Miller Trailblazer 302 Air Pak welder/generator/air compressor, gas, (147,159 miles) (runs, drives and operates, check engine light on)

The AirPak units are badass on their own. Welder/generator/air compressor/ battery charger all-in-one unit. Wired in to run the truck and crane so you don’t have to idle the truck engine on the job.

That's ridiculously cheap for that thing IMO.
Hope the price holds for you!

I’m not that lucky lol. I placed a max bid that I COULD win it for, but most likely not given what it is.

Ours was like 150 done, that’s a killer price if it stays there!

It won’t lol. I’m not that lucky ?

how do you register all of these vehicles ? Is it a DMV nightmare ?

Most go in my company name.

But yes, I’m pretty much at the DMV every other week. They know me over there pretty well at this point. Makes things easy when they’re confident that I’m walking in there with everything I need, everything filled out correctly, etc.

Here’s the Yukon. Has some rust starting in the rockers, but very very clean overall.

I made a post on a few local FB pages looking for non-running stuff and this lady messaged me saying it needed a fuel pump. Showed up and it ran/drove. Has a fuel leak on top of the tank but she included a complete Bosch sending unit.

I also hate the wheels, in process of solving that currently.

Think I did alright for $2,000

So for anyone wondering. A dead F-450 is about max load for a 12000# harbor freight winch.

STRUGGLE

This was the “inoperable” truck I bought two weeks ago. Showed up to pick it up last week and it had no keys (sick). Still don’t have the title yet to get a key cut but I got impatient, went and disconnected shift linkage and dragged it up on the trailer.

I had no idea what the mileage was since they had no keys/dead batteries. Was quite happy to see it light up with only 88,000 and 6,000 hours. (I was expecting 9999.9)

Me personally? I probably will with this one. I know enough to be dangerous with 6.0’s but I’m aiming to change that.

From what I saw from my 5 minute inspection on this truck.

-AC lines are missing (y tho)
-Oil feed line to turbo missing
-FICM unbolted but still in its place and plugged in
-Coolant reservoir had a disconnected line and was unbolted.
-Batteries dead

So yeah, that’s what I’m working with. Running theory is maybe parked for an issue and some parts were robbed. Who knows. I’m in it under 2 grand with fees and everything, so knowing the mileage now and being able to prove odometer reading I can send it right back to an auction as a non-runner and make money being an 88k mile truck.

Started playing with front ride height. This is about 2.25” lower than stock in the front. Thinking this is where I’m going to leave it and get some 3” rear springs. Should look good, have a 1”ish rake to it still so when a sub box, 3-4 people and luggage go in it it won’t be Cali leaning.
