Axle out of the green truck. Header panel arrived for the white ‘11 today so that truck is finally all back together. Going to clean it up, do a brake job and get it listed for sale here soon.

New daily acquired. Maybe one day we won’t have a pandemic that’s cancelled every live auction so far in 2020 or some other nonsense and I’ll get to buy a 17+ King Ranch like I wanted lol.

Deleted/tuned, new CP4. Just has it tinted. Gooseneck going in this week. Currently trying to marketplace some wheels.

Decided to keep the white ranger and sell the green one instead. White one is just far too nice. Put the good tires back on it and new brakes all around from the dealer, figure all of that with the fresh ford trans it wasn’t worth getting rid of.

Took it to Hayward last week. 25.3 mpg empty going there at 75-80ish. 18 pulling the quad and trailer home at 65-70.

Side note I have no idea how that Harbor Freight trailer made it home. Last plated in 2016, I had to cut it out of the weeds, fill the tires and unload a full load of rotted wood out of it.

I put it on Marketplace and someone’s coming to give me $500 for it. It’s not worth new tires and lights to me when an aluminum 5x8 is just over a grand brand new.

After an hour reading on Crutchfield I ordered a JVC double din head unit that can do car play and door speakers all around for the truck tonight. Still need to figure out a subwoofer setup.

Head unit I played around with at best buy and really liked. Door speakers are a gamble since they hit me with a 50% off incentive at checkout for JVC speakers. Never had their speakers so we’ll see. Worst case if I don’t like them they’re the same size as the 7.3 speakers so I can donate them to that truck to work with the factory head unit and order up some Polk’s like I had in the Tahoe that I absolutely loved.

Head unit was a breeze. Had to go pick up a haybine so I got cut short on the door speakers.

Holy shit did the tech improve and price go down. I remember my last one was like $700 and was slow as hell. This one was better in every way, much faster and $299 lol. Head unit alone helped the door speakers immensely, can’t wait to hear it with some good speakers and sub.

Thanks! I’d love to get a nice 295 A/T tire on there but my luck these H/T’s are going to last 70,000 miles lmao.

I haven’t had a good sound system in a truck since my Tahoe so I’m pretty excited to get it all done.

Anyone have a quality 10” sub/amp in a sealed box before I go buy new?

Today I was bored.

Today I bought 10 picnic benches for $7.50 a piece through an online auction.

Today I sold them all for 40-50 a piece. (sold six, have four spoken for).

I made $375 in three hours on fucking picnic benches while driving around listening to music. Sometimes I love my life.

The auctions are starting to pick up steam once again. We went from 110-150 pickups (not including 1500-3500 utility bodies) down to literally 10-12 pickups per auction, all of which had major issues and went for retail numbers. We’ve got 78 pickups currently in the next sale, so things are moving back in the right direction. Demand still seems high, but I’m hoping there’s something to work with as I haven’t done any purchasing since mid April.

I’ll get back to my usual posting pictures and links when I’m on my laptop.

Sold my gray 6.7 somewhat unexpectedly, got a damn good offer so down the road it went. My 6.7 F550 finally left as well after all the title hold ups and shit. Blue 93 flatbed is gone, trying to think what else... I’ve been on a selling kick lately, have too much laying around that was too easy to justify keeping because “I’ve got the space” or “it’s not worth selling”.

Bought an 07 F-450 and 05 Yukon today. My 7.3 will be going into storage in about a month so I’ll be on the hunt for something to drive that can tow. Might just keep this 450 for the winter.

I threw a very generous bid in my opinion on this today for a winter daily. If I don’t win it I’ll probably just drive the F450.

2005 Sierra 2500HD SLE with 95,000 original miles. Local truck from Warren Township.

It’s insane to me where the GMT800 truck prices still are. Interesting trend now is the Duramax trucks continue to get cheaper but the LQ4’s are holding strong. Nice 150k mile gas trucks are still bringing 10-15k depending on options/cab/condition.
