Traded the farmall with the loader straight for this 05 Ranger. 2.3 5-speed. 150,000 miles. Little rusty but whatever, I’ll probably flip it but I’m going to enjoy driving it until that time comes lol.

Clutch at 125k, just got an alternator and intake gaskets. Brand new tires too. I love these little trucks with this drivetrain combo.

So I sold all my trucks out of the blue... white suburban, f250 with the body damage and my personal F250. Kept the plow setup off of it though. So I’m essentially truckless as far as anything modern goes until April 5th.

Temporarliy swapped my tank/box and tools over to the green truck that was supposed to go to Hayward and threw it in the gauntlet. Went on a full send mission to Iowa today to pick up a Farmall 560 and a hay conditioner I bought over the weekend. $1,300 Silverado did great aside from 255 horsepower being hooked to 11k on one hilly ass drive.

Ignore the shit wheels. They have good rubber on them, waiting on a new rear pair of AT’s for the stock wheels with my newly tracked down center caps and beauty rings.

I guess I never posted the green truck...

1998 Silverado 2500 LD. 5.7 80e 2wd. 270k on the body. 40k on a GM reman engine and all accessories, 20k on GM trans and rebuilt rear end. Front suspension all new, literally hand written service records since new, not a spec of rust. Asphalt company owned it. It’s laughable how much money went into this truck in the past 2-3 years.

Got it for $1,300 because it was ugly lol.

Also bought an old u-haul dolly so I can tow it to auctions with the Prius and then just tow it home with my purchase lol. Saves using a trailer, getting beat up the whole ride with an empty trailer and a shitload of fuel.

Yukon helped with pulling the green trucks poor 2wd ass out of a field after an auction yesterday with a poorly/ overloaded trailer of nonsense. It then got to move around a pissed off mare today. (Peep the sweet American Racing 5x5’s I found at the junkyard for the horse trailer lmao)

My new (to me) truck should be here in a few days, but I have to say I’ve had a blast the past three weeks working these old rigs... so much more fun than caring about dents and muddy jeans on perforated leather.

Let the live auction season commence! This was one of three full trailers.

And these came from last weeks auction.

-2012 F-350. 6.7 PSD. 2wd. 166k miles.

-1998 International 4700. T444e (7.3 PSD) Allison auto. 81k original miles.

International is going to be the new tow rig. Going to hack the racking off and get it down to a bare flatbed. Needs a passenger steer tire, front shocks, front calipers and a wheel bearing/ king pin issue sorted first. Waiting on some nicer weather.

You KNOW we used the Prius350 to get them bitches home... mostly without issue. Yeeted both fenders off the dolly over the course of the day.

Dude get the one dent popped outta that thing and she's a beaut!

I've always wanted a farm tractor like that... although I have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with such a machine. Although it would be great to piss off the neighbors by posting it up in the front yard.

That tractor is literally sitting in my front yard right now and nobody bats an eye. Farm lyfe lmao.

Get a little cub or Super A. Hell even an H is small enough. I gave Joe that stood up with us at Carters wedding with us my first H and he used it to move trailers around and do hayrides for the kids and he lives in suburbia Wonder Lake. Hurry up and get one, you can do the Wonder Lake 4th of July parade with us this year lol.

How fucked am I going to be with the inevitable paint fade around the tape stripe lol

late to the party, not sure if it matters any more since you launched all of your rigs
but
the small bottom, thin strip on the fender could be removed to see how 'new' the red paint is.
But I would agree that since it came from CAL the sun may been hard on the paint.

I actually still have that truck. Haven’t done anything with it yet, it’s going to be a project and I need the weather to turn.

GTPpower GTPpower how have you been liking your V10 so far? Picked this up today. Had no intention of doing so but it was at a landscape auction I was at. 350 8’ bed. Decently rusty but the bed isn’t all floppy with shot crossmembers yet. Zero manifold ticks, oil pan isn’t rusty at all. Didn’t look much past that lol.

$3,700 all-in with the plow setup. Figured the plow stuff’s worth that in season.

Just gotta take those flares off the back. The rust under them isn’t horrible. I’d rather look at nonexistent wheel arches than those things.

I like it. Fuel mileage sucks, especially when pulling, but it basically only needs oil changes to keep it rolling.

Mine had 163k on it when I bought it, and I paid $5800. It's just an XL though.

Yours is wayyyy nicer than this thing though. I figured mileage would suck. Was looking for confirmation these aren’t constant problems lol.

I don't drive it a whole lot. I've put probably 8k miles on it in a year. They are pretty trouble free. I would say it's got to be the best mod motor Ford made, until the coyote, if that counts.
