Jesus. FUCK IT. I settled for 3rd in that race. I still won the championship, which is all that matters. I just dont understand it. I had to check the AI to make sure I hadn't bumped them up or something. Nope. The balancing on that final race is just SO fucked up. But whatever.

Racing is literally the absolute worst part of this game ?

I ran into a group of nerds that had all their cars parked outside one of the houses. They then proceeded to go on a cruise traveling around at what would be a speed limit. I was dying laughing.

auction house. or cheat. I wonder if there are still any AFKs where you can just set all driver aids to basically drive the car for you, and then pin the trigger down on the controller and walk away

I just realized there are several 1000 point accolade rewards up for grabs for owning certain groups of cars, and I'm just 1 car away from getting them on several of them. Gonna work on that so I can get them points. Time to spend some money. I also didnt realize you get 500 points just for setting a clean lap time on any of the rivals tracks. Dont need to beat anyone, just post a clean lap time on the leaderboard. Will be working on that as well. The club must rise.

But first i think i should probably shower......

I have just no desire to race in this game. Horizon 3, the races were a blast and I loved them (mostly). Since then, they just feel like a chore.

4 and 5 just felt like no organization..just races tossed together... I spent A LOT of time in 3.

There was more sense of progression in 3. You unlocked areas of the map. In this game, you unlock more races.

Its not really "out in the world" someone put it there in event lab. you could do the same yourself
