I skipped IMAX because there weren't any showings when my wife wanted to go. Also I noticed it wasn't showing at every theater either... I found that weird

It got kicked out of IMAX pretty fast. Think its because of Frozen II since it stopped showing in IMAX same day F2 hit theaters.

The movie is exciting. I was a little kid but my dad was excited about LeMans and the GT40s He took me to Ford dealerships around that time looking at what was available. He bought a green Mustang fastback shortly after that. Might be where my love for speed began? They added a ton of human drama embellishments to the movie rather than having more race drama and the races itself didn't really show the complete dominance of the GT40s at LeMans. Sure, they crossed together but the drama with Ferrari wasn't there. Ford beat the crap out of Ferrari in this race. The GT40s were clearly superior.

The finish was a glowing example of corporate America over what should be right. Myles was probably the best driver in the world that year.

I went and watched this with my dad Wednesday night and really enjoyed it. I may take my wife to see it today.
The Hollywood drama was unnecessary and borderline annoying but the story was a good one and worth telling.
I also agree with Flyn's spoiler 110%.

We went to see it on Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad. We all really enjoyed The movie. I bet editing it was really tough because I honestly thing it could have expanded in other areas but chose the route it did, which was fine.

Awesome movie. Probably one of the best car movies I’ve ever seen, and just a great movie regardless of it being a car movie.

FINALLY saw this. Fantastic flick. Im sad to say I had no idea about that ending. Bale once again steals the show.

Also, I've NEVER wanted to punch a character in a movie more than I did whenever Leo was on screen. My God, my blood boiled whenever he talked.

There is a good documentary that goes into the real story in detail. Not quite as fun of a watch as the Ford vs. Ferrari movie, but a must watch if you're a car enthusiast.

Just watched the 24 Hour War on netflix. While also currently watching the 12 hours of Bathurst in the background The documentary was pretty good tho. Would recommend. Now I just need to watch this movie.

Finally watched it this weekend. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Somehow I thought it would be corny. Real acting, awesome action, sound, and real car talk. I can’t believe how much Bale looked like the real guy. This might be one of those movies I watch over and over again....like Tokyo drift
