I just remembered that I never updated you guys on my mates awd turbo Barra swapped el wagon.
He got the trans mounted and made a corssmember
Intercooler mounted and wiring began!
Flipped the rear diff so the ride height matched better
Got the zf shifter in and wired, ended up using a BMW zf shifter due to size constraints
Got the intercooler piping sorted and started and drove it. It was going awesome, I was doing the tuning and I left it at around 18psi. Felt really strong. Untill...
A bit too much limiter action on a off road track and it grenaded no.6
Oops, my bad ?
The little n/a motor was no more.
So I gave him my spare green top (if you don't know these have the same rods as turbo Barras, just more compression)
He painted it cat yellow
Finally painted the engine bay.
And slapped the new motor in!
It's been going great now and he's been doing heaps of off-roading and camping in it!
