3800 FORD AWD PLATFORM IN USA??

I know ford has some bad ass AWD platforms in Europe..


But today I was driving down LSD and spotted this rather nice looking FORD.

At first I thought it was a newer model for The Taurus.. But upon further inspection I noticed MANUFACTRER MICHIGAN PLATES.

Then I noticed the badging on the car..
it read

FIVE HUNDRED SEL
AWD



Anyone heard of this car?

Thats your new taurus/sable. Dosn't ford have a part ownership in saab or volvo? I can't keep them straight,everyone owns a part of everyone else. And everything ends up looking like everything else too.

GM owns SAAB, and must be affiliated with Subaru, since SAAB has that new turbo wagon that looks just like the WRX, in fact it is the same car with SAAB facelifts.
