How yall doing, well i guess lets get to it. Im from Aurora IL, i moved down to texas in 2016 to study at SAM to become an engine builder, cylinder head porter and efi tuner. im now in my last 8 months of school and have been around drag racing since i was a kid my grandfather ran back in oswego drag days, and passed the torch down to his son (my Father) and now i am carrying that torch on as my father racing still out at byron dragway and route 66. He runs a emerald green 1980 Camaro Chris Alston chassis, that i built the motor for while i attended school, it was the very first motor i put together as an engine builder and has held its own now for 2 years now going strong. (knock on wood). as for myself, my father passed down his 1979 camaro to me as a project ive turned that into a full on drag car that i have to put some more TLC into to make it a (pro-street car) or what they call it down here a daily driven skreet car.

(79 Camaro)
10pt cage, it has a built 12 bolt with strange internals, still a leaf spring car which i am a fan of, but it has calvert caltracs, split mono leaf springs and calvert shocks, it has a performance racing transmission turbo 400 w/reverse manual valve body and a trans brake, 5500 stall tci converter. it has a 383sbc its a mild build that has a bunch of spare parts on it, the front end has all stock components both stock upper and lower control arms, and some 90/10 moroso trick springs. best pass in that car has been 10.68 @ 126 mph in the 1/4

(98 Z28 Camaro)
this is my own project that ive been putting time into recently (past 10 months)
it has a 8.50 cert cage, Fire suppression system, 16inch travel snatuff rear shocks, koni shocks up front, BMR front lower control arms bolted to a tubular BMR K-member. A BMR torque arm and a BMR sway bar with a set of BMR subframe connectors to tie it all together. For the rear end it has aMoser-built 9-inch unit, which is packed with a full spool and 35-spline axles. A set of 3.70 gears. im at a toss up i have a spare built turbo 400 but wont be able to handle the power that the engine will put out. the car is all oem glass all Steele/ fiberglass as it came from the factory, as the idea behind the car is for a street/ strip true street style racing. i still have some things to piece together on it but its something to keep me busy, im still down in Houston, and looking forward to pieceing my 98 together for KOTS, or ANP Cheers!
