I got the kit used with 500 miles on it for 3200. I put the blower on for about 5200 total (fuel pump, boost a pump, tune, injectors, MAF ia.)

Im running around 11 psi and 450 whp. Thats where I heard the "limit" is for safeness. At any time I can drop down pulleys and easily push about 480 to 490 but im not willing to risk the motor...

Sweet set-up!! I've even heard that 450whp is playing with fire. My set-up is pretty conservative with maybe 400whp on a cool day. I'm running 12.0X's right now. I'd think that with an extra 50whp and a crazy launch, a mid 11 would be possible for you.

Ive taken it to the track before and the best ive mustard so far is 12.2 at 117 with like a 1.9 sixty foot......

Im going to launch her like a bat out of hell (now have upr control arms) and hopefully i mustar something better than a 12.2


Everyone on Mach1.org said 450 is the safe limit and that anything can blow. But I figured since kurgan tuned it and he is supposedly the best so we should be alright.....

I hope she goest 11.5's

What is your tire set-up?

On some MT Streets, I was able to cut a 1.72 off a mild launch. Our cars both make enough power for 1.6X's, but you really need a sticky set-up. Next year I plan on getting some MT slicks.

I have some BFG gforce t/A's .... I think they are 275's, maybe 285's....


I really never got to launch it hard......i was only leaving at like 2500 or so, pending on how many passes i get on saturday i might try a 3000 launch to see if they hold...

Are those the DR's or street tires?

I had both. The street tires didn't hook worth crap, and the DR's only last two weeks.

They are still in decent shape even after 3 years (have about 200 miles on them)
