Anyone know of a place that will finance/refinance a 10 year old car?

I need to refinance my Camaro to so I can get the Ex off it.. The car is currently financed with wacovia but they were bought out by wells fargo and they wont finance anything over 8 years old.. its a 2000 z28 with 73k miles

thanks in advance

my bank did... it is a small bank with a few branchs in my area.
Be ready for a high interest rate because of the age of the car!

Depending on how much you would be refinancing, you may be better off just doing an unsecured personal loan.

If you own your own home I would try using a home equity line of credit.

true that... you likely wont easily find somebody to refinance due to the age (there are a few specialty companies for classic cars but i dont think its old enough for that yet), your best bet in the meantime is to actually pay 2 times a month. lets say your payment is 300 a month, even if you pay 150 on the 15th and the 30th (for genaric example) it is better for your principle.... if you can afford a little more, pay it on the 2nd payment and it will pay down your principle faster than paying the same thing in one lump sum.
