Great radar as I own one but I think the Passport Max beats this one. The Max has better range but the 9500ix is a really great detector. Im surprised yours hasn't sold already. $330-$350 is better than $500 (with only 1 year database subscription)

I do have the max as well as the 9500ix. I only experienced one bug with the max that had to do with escort live rather than the radar itself. Other than that its a great radar and I like it better than the 9500ix.
