I saw a while back you said that the Colorado taillights were not a direct swap. What did you have to do for those? I have a set in the garage that I need to get un-lazy about tinting slightly so I can put them on, but I assumed it was a direct swap.

So it's so easy it's stupid. GM did this just to fuck with us. It was harder to remove my driver's taillight.

When you pull it you will notice the top post, the alignment post matches but the lower is off by 1/4". Again total fuckery.

Just hold it up to verify but I think the hole needs to be opened up a quarter down to put Colorado tails in a Canyon.

After that just pop it in and replace the screw(s).

I assumed the same and was WTFing when the weren't. Thankfully it was obvious and Google confirmed the fix pretty quickly.
