I was looking to bypass my stock coolant temp gauge with an aftermarket unit and wondered if the Cobra uses the same sensor for the ECT?

I know I have seen plenty of people running aftermarket temp sensors and my Tbirds had an ECT sensor + a separate sensor for only the gauge... Does the same apply to the Cobra?

Thanks!!!

There's just the one coolant temp sensor, in the crossover tube on the driver's side. The PCM uses it so if you want an aftermarket gauge, either tee it in up there, or many of us put the senders in the block on the driver's side by the motor mount. there's a convenient pipe plug for it.

Their is a guy on SVTP that makes a new Burp plug. It has a threaded nipple on top for a aftermarket temp gauge.
