Shout out to Denny at Performance Unlimited in Richmond! Got some fittings and some more line (I'm going to need more) and got after the fuel system install in the engine bay tonight a bit.

Had to remember that a distributor needs to be installed in the front of the engine after running both feeds in the front of the rails... Lol! So I wasted some line and time doing that first. Then I remembered the bottom port and googled a bit and got it sorted.

The regulator and Y-block are ready to accept the lines to the tank. Rails are plumbed! Still waiting on the fittings for the fuel filter and the pickup fittings, skills be here early next week.

Golf cart ate up my time today. Went out to the garage to make room for a new 8.8 I picked up, wanted to move the cart out and it was dead. Spent hours babysitting a charger to bring individual batteries back to life so the 48v charger could take over.

Worked a bit on the radiator fans and organizing my thoughts on what's left/next

Need some help. Looking for 4 lug wheels and tires for the track. Been eyeballing 10 holes, with the 9" wide wheel out back... But would consider other options.

I also need to get ready control arms to go with this fancy 31 spline 4-lug eaton diff'd axle... Recommendations?

That's the same dude I bought the axle from. He was a good dude! Not sure I like those wheels though. Found a few pics of cars with those and I felt meh about em.

lol, I'm just not sure I dig em. I'm still looking for period correct. I'm really thinking Weld (bigs and littles) or 10 holes 15/7&9.
ok, i do love me some draglites on these things. its a timeless look.

but widened 10-holes...... ooof baby girl.. i love it. but would love it more if it were a 4-eye car.

This would definitely do. I always worry about getting the right backspacing wheels tho. Pressure Ratio Pressure Ratio probably knows the exact size off the top of his head.

8" is 5.5" and 10" is 6.5". They make a 9" wheel as well if you want to move it in or out some based on the 5.5" or 6.5" backspacing.

*edit* Joe beat me to it. lol

I like the look of the 10-hole wheels. Especially for a plain-Jane look.

A 255 fits the stock wheels nicely. A 275 will fit and looks mighty meaty. lol

Do a set of widened 10-hole and you can probably fit a 295 with a spacer to get the wheel position right.

I also need to go back through the thread. Somehow I don't think I've been in here since page 5. lol

GD this car is hard to want to work on

Ordered up new tank straps, going to find new control arms soon, then the axle and tank will get dropped, the 340 and pro-m hanger installed and the feed and return lines ran, the new control arms and built rear axle installed. Feels to me like all that stuff kinda goes together, and won't have the straps until Wed... I guess I could start yanking the old stuff out... damn tank is probably mostly full too :fu:

I guess that leaves working in the engine bay... fan wiring, starter wiring, PS pump return line, batt tray, heater hoses, etc.

Yesterday got the following done: plug wires, battery and tray, pressure sensor and bracket that I painted, starter wired up... I think that's about it. Got the control arms and a set of 10 holes for the fronts from @Nate (thank you sir), which means I'll be getting the 15x9 10 holes for out back.

Need to figure out where to get the correct coolant hose for the heater line, figure out what this other plug by the coolant temp sensor is for, get the vacuum stuff sorted, and finally tear back into the back end of the car... Again. Lol

Nice wood dolly you have there, thats one of the better ones. I have had a motor sit on one for over 6 months and wheeled it around like a champ.
