I think 0-100-0 runs need to become a thing again. lol With the brakes some of these new cars have, I bet it would make for an interesting comparison.

I think the Shelby 427 Cobra would do 0-100-0 in 14.5 seconds. I can only imagine what cars could do today.


Plus I think hard breaking is a blast. Film passengers with some of these huge brakes as they go flying towards the dash. hahaha

On the one test launch on I did on my drive way when I had to slam the brakes hard it did .
0-60mph was 2.91
60-0 was 3.13
My car probably won't get really good numbers because I have standard HPS Hawks street pads

My 13 5.0 F150 . Pretty crazy difference , it took my truck around 400' to reach 60mph while my GTR did that in 127'

I’ve seen it posted on here but haven’t looked into it, I don’t do much launching on the street due to traction issues, I’m more of a 50-100 rip as I merge on to I55 kind of guy lol

Here is a street pass from this morning.Went out to pay proparty taxes and there is a nice road close to city hall so I was like let's see what it will do on this new setting .I made couple changes in advanced traction control setting , set LC at 4000rpms and let it rip LOL

You should do some no prep races with that thing it rips on the street

Most don’t allow AWD or if they do, you are placed in the unlimited class where basically anything goes.

It gets down for sure! I am jealous that you have so much opportunity to make rips like that. To do a data log on my car I have to drive about 15 minutes to a couple of spots that I still have to worry about cops. lmao

We bought a Vericom back in the mid 90's. We found it was pretty close to what the cars ran at the track. It seemed to be more accurate the harder the car left or if it was quicker. But it still wasn't off by much. I am sure the newer technology is even better. This seems like a great alternative to other units.




I also got a ride in my first car using launch control. It was in a 2015 Turbo S with a catless exhaust and a tune. My car is way quicker from a roll. But that launch control is bonkers. That is a good time! hahaha

Yea , I'm pretty shocked how hard this car launches on the street with no prep and no burn out to warm up tires. Stop , engage LC and go .1.58 60' on this box is probably around 1.53 -1.54 with regular 1' roll out. I never though that was possible coming from RWD cars.
