I knew some of those demons looked familiar but it really does look like Bethesda is staying extremely true to the "lore" and almost "recreating" Doom 2.

Gameplay looked super easy but I'm assuming they were on God mode with really dumb ai.

The newest one was super easy on easy. Played through it last month on easy and just glided right through it. Play it on Nightmare and it's rage inducing yet so much god damn fun.

I'm currently playing Doom 2016. It's ok. I guess my interests have slightly moved away from FPS. I like action games with puzzles that you have to solve.

It has puzzles! You have to count how many bullets it takes to kill each different type of demon!

The one that actually got me stuck was where you need to rip off a dead guy's arm to use at a hand-scanner. I walked by the body a million times and never really noticed that it was 'shadowed' in blue as in, "You should take a closer look at this".
