I have a set of HKS twins that are on my friends car now, I wanted to try the single route so we can compare. I went with a somewhat "small" single to keep drivability fun, so we will see. it's more of a science experiment.

plus it sucks working on the low mount twins. there is nothing fun at all about it. at least with a single it makes things a lot cleaner and easier to work on.

I see progress being made today

removed the manifold and turbo and took off the factory oil and water lines to make room for some work today.

since customs opened the box and misplaced the brackets, holding up the intercooler to make some.

my friend cutting and welding the compressor housing for the 90* bend out of the turbo.

starting some ideas on piping. removed the power steering completely as the goal is to no longer be used on the car.

cast 90 elbow out, 2.5 to 3" adapter so we can do 3" IC pipe on this side.

new intake collector to replace the stock piece that is known to lean out #6. hopefully this fixes it, when i got it nobody told me it had a 4" inlet. more work to do now.

going to try to make a carbon fiber air box to hold the air filter in. seen it on a few cars and liked it. there is the factory fresh air inlet in the fender right there, so in theory it should work.
