Their typical $100 off deal includes all tires regardless of brand to my recollection.

That then stacks with any active rebates, which can make for some screaming deals.

Enough standing water will make anything hydroplane.

We clipped an intersection last night in the cooper (tires are only as old as the car at like 8 months old, 5000 miles), and got some hydroplane action.

The Burb I just picked up has decent tread, but after getting a better once-over the truck in good light I can see the tires are dry rotting and old which is no bueno for plowing.

Given the common size however, Grabber AT2's are only $125 a pop from Discount Tire in the right size, which is a pretty nice price to begin with.

2yrs, ~45k and they're to a point where if it was summer approaching, they'd stay but with winter ahead I'd rather just swap them out. Especially with the DTD deal.

If you buys these, how about installation? Will the local discount tire install them for the same rate they install in stock tires? (I tried having them install Tire Rack ties and their rates were stupid high for tires not purchased there)

In hindsight yea, looks like I could have gone 285s? I figure it’s not like I’m ever going to actually do anything with that needs an oversized tire so I rather not take the MPG hit.

I can’t lift it either (short wife was pissed about me lifting the explorer at all)
