Pulled this ol girl outta someone's backyard in Kentucky about 7 years back. Pretty much sat on it till aboit 3 years, bit would tinker here and there. Was gonna do a big block carbed, cut up the cowl. Oops. I think there was a spot in there I wanted to do an Lt1, but my friend took me for a ride in his CETA with a turbo ls1 forged motor, and I was hooked. Well I have one of those damn old school original gt45 turbos from like 10 years back, and was gonna use that. Uhhh, it kinda snowballed after that. Got my hands on a 99 5.7....pulled apart, stuck in a SS3, with BTR springs, gapped rings, and called it good far as the motor was concerned. Of course I thought this motor gonna run all over that turbo, so back to ebay I went to get me some twin 76-65s.

Had to repull engine. Somehow rain got by 2 tarps, and put a good couple gallons of water in the engine. Decided to pull and drop in a turbo k member too.

This weekend I decided to try welding my down pipes. Stainless sucks as your first time welding. Burned through the pipe, and I think I had it turned down far as it will go.

Are you using a flux core welder on your v bands? Might i suggest taking a piece of aluminum foil layered up about 3 times and folding it around the v band flange before you weld. It will keel it clean. Stainless does suck to weld unless you have a tig. I mig'd mine together and hated every bit of it. But the foil helps.

Ty, still trying to decide on some gears. Running ss3 cam and 6 speed, and course the bigger twins, maybe later find some ported heads, see that stuff all the time on marketplace. I wanna get sealed up exhaust with no holes. I think 4.10s would be to drastic. Gonna have one hell of a mod range on up with turbo and that cam

My welder, and where the setting was left at. It still didnt make a whole lotta difference in how I set the settings. It still sent out Thor's lightning in godmode burning everything in its path.

This is my return feed into the tank, and the same one I made earlier for my line in for the triple 455 Wallies. I will say the triple air fitting for kobalt has alot more meat in the sides of it for drilling and tapping -10 line to feed the -10 bulkhead fitting.
