Would you buy one with a bill of sale only? Is there any way to run the VIN to make sure it's not stolen? If it was just me riding it I wouldn't care but I dont want my daughter getting in trouble because of it.

ive bought and sold many without titles. some even without a bill of sale.
i think the only way to check the vin is to call non emergency police to have it ran.
id say just make sure the price reflects the fact that it doesnt come with a title.

What year is it? Dirt bike titles are a pretty new thing (within the last 5 years)

I’d buy it if the situation doesn’t appear to be sketchy and you have a bill of sale fully filled out.

I've bought 2 without titles, not uncommon at all.

There is also a free vin check site for bikes out there you can Google. It gives you info on if it's ever been reported stolen or anything.

I've called WI DNR to check for free in the past to check on VIN's to make sure what I was buying was good to go on Sled's, Dirtbikes and ATV's.
