seemed as though the closed beta was a crash fest queue simulator. maybe they fixed it in a week

Is it going to have a million items to collect but only 6 that you really want so you can create a set and literally walk through enemies again?

I saw a lot of mostly positive reviews. I really hope itemization is way better than D3 was.

I played the beta last weekend got a sorc to 25, and messed around with extracting/imprinting legendaries. Game has potential thats for sure. Its not a D2 with new stories or graphics, D2R is only thing to play for that. Its not really a D3 either. D4 has some mechanics from D3 such as crafting and collecting mats. It also has uniques so you will get that rare drop experience from D2. I guess it has good things from both D2 and D3, but D4 end game will be open world stuff, world bosses, and hundreds of dungeons. There are no set items yet, so builds are more based on skill trees vs what gear you got to drop and forced to play. So that part is more like D2. I am thinking D4 will be better than D3 overall, but not as good as D2R.

Overall the game was fun. Itemization is kind of meh but the game seems huge. I played a sorc to 25, rouge to 21, and a druid to 20 and still have some areas I have not explored. The world boss was actually pretty challenging.

I played sorc the first beta weekend to 25, it was OP. Then I played necro for the second weekend and omg that class is beyond OP. I will play one of those classes at launch, but both will likely get nerfed.

I didn't pass, . I played Sorc for like 10 levels, that's all I could take before feeling like I was wasting my time. It feels outdated already and it's in beta.. not a good feel.
