💦 Detailing Detail shop recommendations

Hey guys, Im looking for recommendations for a shop to take my new bike to for ceramic coating. It's black, so I want it ceramic coated before it's even washed once. Any recommendations?

This is exactly why I don't want to do it myself. I know nothing about doing ceramic coating.

Ok I was under the impression you were saying you don’t want the bike washed at all, just straight to ceramic.

You are fine with washing the bike, just not doing it yourself.

I can wash it just fine, but the second I do it'll be swirled. That's why I want it coated right away, so it stays pristine.

Are you planning to remove the bags ? This way, they can be coated 100% and the rear fender can be done 100%.

If I had to take one of my vehicles somewhere, it would likely be to Chicago Auto Pros, they have a location in Lombard.

A ceramic coating is not scratch / swirl proof, keep that in mind.

The bags come off easily with 2 quick disconnects in each bag, so yeah I wanted them done all around.

I know it isn't 100% swirl proof, but it'll definitely help me keep the black looking good longer and with less work. I just want it protected because Im going to have this one for awhile and it's going to get miles put on it.

If you're not interested in doing it I'll check out Chicago Auto Pros. ?

Thanks! I know, but bikes aren't like cars. Limited colors, abd I got a leftover 20 for a really good deal the same week the 21 models started rolling in.

Somewhat soon. The weather and road conditions aren't good enough to ride for probably a couple weeks. The bike is still in storage at the HD dealer and I'm going to have it delivered directly to wherever it's going to be coated at.

I have no personal experience with the detailing sponsors on here that's why I recommended Auto Image. Jeff has been doing my cars as well as family and some friends since ktraver retired. He does ALOT of ceramic coating. My buddy Matt was very happy about the coating they did on his Camaro 1LE. If I had a car worth a shit I would be taking it over there for ceramic coating also.

Sponsor or not I am not going to recommend anyone I don't have personal experience with.

I'd offer to do it on the side (I've coated 100s of vehicles)but I have next to no time to do it these days... I'll recommend the shop I used to work at, Rush Group Detailing out of St.Charles.
