any gm cluster is snaptabs/clips and usually t10/t15 torx for most 96+
most 96 and older will use philips and fewer snapclips

everything newer is designed to be snapped together by highly trained highschool dropouts

grab a bunchs flathead pocket screwdrivers to wedge tabs into the unlocked position all at once

its usually easiest to pull the clear lens/face and cover over the face/transparent symbol than to cover the actual led

the liquid electrical tape works quite well and should blend in well

not unless your tuner does BCM/ICM reflashing as alot of the faults are transmitted over the serial bus lines

How many wires are pinned into the ABS unit. Could you jump some pins to fool the ECM into thinking the ABS is fine?

bump, im gonna be doing this in a few days to my trans am while the engine is out (would be foolish not to).....what about the main connector for the abs unit itself...should I just shove it aside and not worry about it? or jumper the high speed lan lines? will my brake lights still work, im assuming yes since theyre probably tied into the bcm.

Last year I just taped it up and tucked it out if the way, this year I traced all te wires back and cut them out of the harness, on the Grand Prix there is no affect other than a dash light that's always on

I stare at abs lights as it is anyways, my 9in rearend wasn't built with abs

just tape it up, tuck it underneath and hide it well.....you lsx fucks should have no problem with that since im almost positive you like to play sissy with each other
