I went to a local cars and coffee , ended up buying a new toy . I'm going to pick it up tomorrow so I'll have more pictures. Super clean 69 Z/28 for a great price , I wanted one for a long time .

Nice purchase.

Is it a real DZ 302 out of a 1969 Z28? If it is, yank it, sell it for nice money, and put a real motor in it.

Let me know if you need original type restoration stuff for the car. That is what my company specializes in. :bigthumb:

NO! Just NO!

Keep the 302!

How is a high revving DZ 302 not a real motor?

stock 302 is 290 hp. Hardly anything potent in today's world. And not a lot of torque down low. Who wants to wait for HP at high rpm in a street motor? And if it is a real date coded DZ 302 I'm sure someone with a real Z28 would like to have that motor.

*Edit* Also, for some reason, I didn't see the Z/28 badges on the car. And OP didn't say anything about it being a real Z28. If it's a real Z28 that is one thing. If it is a clone, that is another story.
