1992 Dodge Dakota Sport
Quick Back Story:
I've had this truck for over 20 years. It was the vehicle I drove through high school and did my first engine swap on at the age of 17.
An original 2.5L 4 cyl/5speed, it's been off roaded, flooded, raced, caught on fire, and wrecked when parked after fixing fire damage. To say it nicely it's been though hell.
From 2001-2019 it sat dormant in my parents garage with no front clip, no wiring, and barley a shell. Although pretty much worthless and bare, I could not get rid of it. I love this thing to death.
In August of 2019, I decided it needed to live again, so I pulled it out of my Mother's Garage and brought it to my house where my buddies and I installed a 5.3 over the next coupe months.
It now runs and drives great, and the project has been built with a Drag Week / RMRW endurance focus.
So far has made a best pass of 12.47 @ 107 with a 1.72 60ft and 7.94 1/8 mile time
