We stayed down the hall from the room where Dahmer killed his first victim, so of course I took a picture. Pretty cool hotel - the lobby and bar is all 1920s art deco.

Stayed at that same hotel 3 years ago for a Cubs game. We had 6 rooms on that floor. We were told they completely gutted that floor and re-habbed it. Super cool hotel, we drank at a local bar about a block away.

Thanks! I'm all about Art Deco. If they could modernize the utilities I'd be living in an Art Deco styled house. We stayed at the Pelican Hotel in Miami (south beach), which was the same way.
The Chicago Board of Trade building is probably my favorite when it comes to art deco styling.

(The Ceres Cafe shown in the first pic is where CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson got blackout drunk and then passed out behind the wheel of his police car. Can't blame him though, If you order a Jack and Coke, you get a full glass of whiskey with a can of coke on the side to chase it.)

In episode 3.

So.far it's great just a little bit that irks me..

like when he was going to drill into the guy's head and put acid in it, I feel he didn't need to tell him that, that's its super implied and almost everyone knows. To me it it's equivalent to him saying I'm going to chop you up just to keep you. Like we know what he's doing
