i just got back from cuba. saving some for friends, taking offers on the rest. to the best of my ability i've identified them as:

(4) - cohiba robusto - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/19739
(15) - cohiba siglo ii - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/16454
(3) - cohiba piramides extra - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/18975
(1) - romeo y julieta churchill - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/19177
(2) - montecristo 2 - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/19839
(2) - montecristo 1 - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/19180
(2) - montecristo 4 - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/19840
(1) - montecristo double edmundo - https://www.cigaraficionado.com/ratings/detail/source/search/note_id/18595

plus 2 fake cohibas.

all the ones in the long list are real. bought in havana and trinidad. i think cohibas are sold in the US? but those are from the dominican republic and not cuba.

Selling homes on the Gulf Coast of Florida
As I mentioned in the cigars thread, I don't know if private sales of legally bought Cubans are OK in the U.S. so, please take any sales/trade talk to PM.

Very nice cigars, Mike. Down here Cubans go for $20ish each if you can find them. Probably more in Chicago.

Yes, you can buy Cohibas at cigar shops but they aren't Cubans.

wish i bought at least one more for a gift. this one's already being gifted.

iirc after the revolution they nationalized bacardi in cuba which had/still has a nice building there, and bacardi is still in a legal battle for the brand.

we left with absolutely no money. less than a dollar between 3 people. that's in cuban money actually, the last USDs we had we gave to a guy to take us to the right terminal - since we were dropped off at the wrong one and it wasn't really walkable.

there are little water packets you can buy. i could trade you 4 of the cohibas you see there and even given you a packet as i will no longer need it. ideally they'd be kept in some container with the packet at 72 degrees. i think they'd be fine in a zip-loc.

in 2 weeks i'm leaving the country for 4 months, so we'd need to meet in the shorter term to make something happen. i'm up in grayslake and work from home so i don't venture down south too much.

my buddy just came back from Cuba, stopped there while on a cruiz. sitting on my desk this AM was a Romeo Y Julieta Romeo#3.

this weather needs to warm up before i even attempt to smoke it. not sure how long it will keep tho.
