exactly. but im nuts and base everything off resale value cuz i will sell this thing eventually.

with the exception of a stereo(the buy will have the option to pay more to keep it). i only really want to do free things to it. it will never be worth more than 4-5G even all dressed up with nice wheels and shit.

and right now, im $3175 into it. my profit margin is shrinking fast.

the things that would make me happy with this car:
stereo
muffs and cat delete
lowering springs
mustang wheels with some FAT tires

and thats pretty much it. no tune, no ported this or that, fuck all that noise lol

I got a 70MM BBK throttle body off of eBay for cheap, may try and get a cheapo Trick Flow upper plenum to pair it with. I've heard it'll make the car run like ass without a tune, and I'm not ready to drop $400 bones on a tuner and a few canned tunes. Although I'm keeping my eyes open for a cheap xcal3

Mine's an '08 as well. I've heard of it/seen it, but can't remember what it does exactly...I also can't imagine taking it off is going to hurt anything...I'm looking it up on cv.net now

lol. damn. i left it in there after doing my intake and gaskets earlier this week. i didnt have a gasket for the TB.. so maybe this weekend ill pull it apart and cut all the fins out of it.

Go to the junkyard and look for any towncar and get the center seat. It has a compartment inside the arm rest. But you already know this.
