Corvette wrecked in front of work last Monday

I wasn't there, but co-worker sent me these pics.



Dealer took a 02 Z06 in on a trade, sales guy took it for a joy ride instead of to the service shop.



I wonder how the original owner of the car feels, because the dealer just wrecked his old mint Z06 with 20k miles on the clock.

I may peek at the camera system and see if we have footage of the accident. If we do, I won't be able to post it publicly anyways, but I'll tell you how fast he was going.

This is another case of an idiot salesman driving a car well beyond their level and familiarity.

He's lucky the car owner had already signed and received the trade-in value. If they had done it on a test drive while it wasn't theirs they'd be facing a pretty bad suit to get the cars value back.
