When I recently watched Speed Racer again I was reminded that one of the cars only featured in two shots near the end of the movie looks really cool. Its kind of like a Classic car + TVR. Not sure what its built on.

I love TVRs.

I want a Speed Six, or a Sagaris so badly, but those aren't ever going to be in my price range even when they are legal to import.

Probably why I like that Gray Ghost car, front end reminds me of a Speed Six a bit.

And what’s not to love about a classic cab over Kenworth from BJ and the Bear.

Love the Wraith, so cheesy, but so much Dodge Goodness in it. So many prototype Dodge cars too, its practically a Dodge commercial in the 80's.

And I can never look at one of those Semi's of that body type and NOT see Optimus Prime.

Its always been crazy to me how overlooked this car was. In a way it's kind of easy to understand why. What was was promised vs what was delivered. And the turbo V6 probably was the nail in the coffin for this car. But look at where we are now.... And it WAS the fastest production...

Damn it, I was going to come in saying the Interceptor from Wraith and TA from Smokey and the Bandit.

If the Fast and Furious Supra had a whale tail instead of the ricer wing, it probably would have been my favorite F&F car. Id even take a duck tail. Just not what was on it.

So I recently discovered that the car from 2008's Speed Racer is actually a real car. Coach built.

Called the Antas GT Berlinetta and it was powered by one of Maserati V8's. that probably means it broke down a lot.
