Got car back from getting windows done and a detail. After I got home I threw on the new wheels. Love how everything turned out!! Next week I get the lowering springs on and new exhaust and a tune.
Looks great on those wheels. Once its dropped,
yes needs a drop bad! Next week....
Still waiting for some nicer weather to get car over to Fischer Motorsports to have springs and exhaust installed. But I did find a nice patch to get the car in at ABT to have a new radio installed. I couldnt take not having Bluetooth, Apple car play, XM and Navi. Install was done Perfectly, very happy with work. Looks factory. Factory HVAC controls get relocated, and now I get a little pocket Under radio.
I also replaced the 11yr tires that came on the wheels I purchased. Went with Michelin Cup2’s and what a difference. I know it’s a no no driving on them below 50* but I couldn’t help myself.

Sorry, I edited to clarify. The factory radio was terrible!! So now I have BT, Apple Car Play, XM and Navi.
The factory radio was so bad. I was getting two radio stations playing at the same time. I was driving around with no radio. Makes driving this car that much more enjoyable. I love the Porsche startup up screen they downloaded, its the little things.
I had a buddy install a Kenwood DMX9706S in my 997 a week before I went on a road trip with the car. With Android Auto it made it so easy to set up directions, send voice texts, and so on. Plus the Sat radio, Andora app, Bluetooth, and so on. I had never used Android auto and that trip I found myself using more and more commands.
What is nice with the unit I have, the Android Auto is done over wifi. No need to hook up a cable to the phone. But if you do hook up the cable you get fast charging on your phone. The benefits of the new radio outweigh the cost by a mile.

Finally got Remus exhaust and springs installed..... very happy with everything. Hats off to Rick at Fischer Motorsports. Great guy, great work and very helpful. Will be going back in the spring for Cobb tune. Love the stance, and Those Remus Exhaust tips!!
