What's best? I'm assuming Trans brake for auto cars but what about the staging brake vs line lock? Today was first time I've heard of the cnc staging brake. I looked it up bu it seems useless compared to line lock.

cut a hole in the floor and use your feet to hold it back, or have someone stand next to it and put a stick in your spoke untill your ready to leave then pull it out real fast

This, no one I know of launches off a line lock, just use it to do the burnout.
Only thing I could think of, is if the car is stick and you don't want it to roll while staged. Idk.

So I've got maybe half a legitimate answer?
Do u have an automatic? Line loc is for doing a burnout basically. Trans brake is for an automatic. It basically puts the car in 1st gear and reverse at the same time(acts like neutral). Then when u let off the button or whatever it slams into gear. Basically like neutral dropping, except safe for the trans. People usually use a 2 step of some sort with that.

Staging brake is the same concept as line loc. With a stick car u can preload the suspension a lil before launching. From what I looked up at least. I guess its more for fwd cars.
