okay, so I got a shim pack for my ChryCo 8.25 Axle. The problem is that it seems to have 10s, a 21ish, a 14ish thousandths and that's about it. I think I'm looking for about 28-29 thousandths and the stock is 27 thousandths.

How the fuck do I get that? Is there another pack or something that I can find that will have some shims in it that would help this situation? (7/8/9 or 13/14/15/17/18/19 thousandths would be awesome)

Do you just take a piece of 220 grit and knock a thousandth or two off or something?

May have solved this one myself and asked prematurely. For reference though:

The Yukon 25300 gear pack contains the following thicknesses. I had to ask support to get this info:
.010 x 4
.014 x 1
.015 x 1
.018 x 1
.019 x 1

The 1102 shim pack I had before contains the following thicknesses as measured by me:
.010X2
.014X1
.021X1

Naturally the Yukon kit is ordered and I may have a fighting chance of this being fucking right. Sigh, lets see how it goes.
