Chromebook/Laptop

Hey guys. I enrolled to get my Masters Degree and simply looking to have something to type papers on that will connect to wifi or my phone for a Hotspot. That's about all I'll use it for. Not looking to break the bank either.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

I know LinusTechTips on YouTube just did a recent video (5 months old) on a $250 laptop that was worth the money. I'm sure there's something probably slightly better for the same price or so.

I'm a fan of Lenovo stuff. Check Amazon and see if you can pick up last year's model of something. I did that when I was doing my master's degree in engineering school. I picked up a previous year model gaming laptop for a good deal. Was good enough to run whatever CAD or modeling software I needed at the time (2015-2017) and it still runs great today. Now I use it for tuning and data logging.
