This had to be Motorola lol!I worked at a company that used to write-off customer accounts receivable credits. If a customer's credit memo got too old, they would write it off back to income. It came back to bite them a few times when customers came back years later to claim a credit.
When I was at Moto a dude ended up fired because he took a bunch of random credits on customer accounts, and applied them to random debit balances he had on other customer accounts. LOL!Ha, nope, my wife is the one that works at Motorola. But I bet a lot of companies do stuff like that. I think it's shady. They should just send the customer a statement each month, or make them aware of the credit.
