How was it dropping the vehicle off in oak brook? How was the experience?

easy.

A chick had me sign a few forms.. Took the car on a drive around the parking lot.. took a few pics.. and handed me a check for the difference (loan).

I was in and out in about 15 minutes..

Only reason I chose to drive there.. the next PICK UP appointment was 2 weeks out! Wanted it over and done with.

My cousin dropped off his vehicle today at 11:00 am and by 11:10 he was gone. Super simple

So a friend of mine bought a 2013 Jetta TDI with 206,000 miles from Copart a few days ago. Has a flat tire, dead battery and it’s dusty as fuck. Was listed as run/drive, minor cosmetic damage (scratches). Tracing carfax it is a no story car that was a carvana/vroom purchase and sold through Copart.

These prices are nuts. I just ran the number to sell to carvana on the wife’s Palisade. They are offering 47k for the car with 14,000 miles on it.

That’s nearly what we paid for the car brand new….. actually if you exclude taxes and dealer fees that offer is more than what we paid for the car brand new.

This is crazy.

2018, 13k miles on it, a base (non SE/Autobahn) with a scratched bumper and some ugly looking wheels, 27.6K.

In July 2018 I bought a 2018 manual gti s and paid 25k out the door with taxes/fees included. No trade for them to hide anything. Still own.
