Gents, the time to purchase is *almost* nigh. Prices are already going down and with a likely recession in 2023 it seems like the next 3-12 months could be a good time to buy a car

I think you prob all know what I'm windowshopping. Seems like the average shelby listing price has dropped at least $10k in the last few weeks. With a filter for nothing >20k miles there are several for sale asking in the 70's and dozens <$85k. A silver 2020 CFTP sold by me for $89k a few weeks ago which is basically unheard of.

So...what are you looking at as prices drop

Market is still high msrp on a 21 base with track pack was 77k a year ago brand new

With price increases a 22 base with track
Pack was supposed to be 85k but it was like 89 with increases.

Remember it’s winter all sports cars fall they will go up in the spring again. The amount I don’t know.

I'm still looking at 2018-2020 Mustang GT premium 401a. Same trim as my last one. They've definitely come down in price, but I don't want to pay more than I got out of mine back in 2020.

Msrp for a 21 premium was like 49k I appraised one at 40k guy wants 43k. I told him I’d pass it’s the middle of winter he also just wanted to sell it us which I’m sure it might go up in the spring but I’m not a storage lot.

Nothing at the moment but 992 turbo maybe a year or two from now.
911 turbo values went crazier than most vehicles through this market, I used to look at 991.2's regularly. It'll be nice when the 992's get back to the steep-ish depreciation curve that is common with turbos, such an amazing car

I want a C8. Ill even deliver car to you.

Depending how far C8s go I may get serious about punting this car by summer.

I miss my Focus ST as something to get around town since we're down to one car (but have no problems yet like that, since I don't go anywhere ). Just today while doing my morning bidness I thought about looking for an unmolsted ST.

We took one in last year and it was modded I believe it was a old CSVT member. Don’t see many that’s foresure.
