An IP can also be banned.
A voluntary way is to change the e-mail address and password to something random so you'll never find a way back to use it.

My advice...well it doesn't seem like either of you have drama "coming from" this forum.
But you might be better off having one or both of you leave if the forum in any way is causing trouble in the relationship....that would've solved alot of problems looking back.

Dont delete your account... your just upset right now, cool down and wait a week to log on again, otherwise you'll just have to go through the trouble of registering again.
