the stock bottom end can handle 450 hp.. over reving is what kills the 3v.. the rods cant handle 450 very long

i know a couple of guys spraying the stock 3v.. 100 and even 125 shot and still running them hard..

Yep. The stock 3v's handle around the same as the stock 2v's did before giving up the ghost. I don't know why people think they are any weaker.

I like em too but I like the LS3 much better due to their considerably better heads.
