So far I’m liking MW3 with the exception of the Rust spawn trap. It’s to the point where if your team camps and isn’t in the sweet spot two people will decimate your team. I skip Rust like the plague because of that. Standard issue of people camping on objective based games and not playing the objective at all. TTK is fucking atrocious so I switched to hardcore……..nope, I’m getting multiple hit markers ON HARDCORE. 3 chest shot hit markers with a battle rifle and some kid domes me from across the map with a pistol while I’m hitting him in a hardcore match is unacceptable.
I’m loving zombies so far and it’s fantastic when I find people that communicate and know what they’re doing. I only zipped into tier 3 for a minute to get a wall weapon and sprinted out as fast as I could then looted tier 1 & 2 for the remaining time. Then promptly lost all the shit I had because the exfil markers weren’t popping up and I missed the last extract.

I’m still out on disability (most likely permanently) and I’m on MW3 or GT7 from 8am until 1pm during the week so if anyone wants to add me it’s SMRTSS1 on PSN.

I downloaded this 180gb MF’ing game, it says all plug ins etc are downloaded, yet I can’t play shit. I’m missing the “DLC” packs for basically everything. What the FUCK

is this because I’m on an older Xbox one, or does video gaming just suck now because sizes and update requirements killed everything

I'm not saying this is it...but I would check...make sure that you have the space to install all of the DLC packs and they are actually installed and not sitting in the queue waiting to download.

Took a couple restarts but eventually it worked. These monster downloaded games are just a PITA.

BUT I'm enjoying it so far

I enjoy it as well. I play multiplayer here and there and it is super smooth. The games load in pretty quickly too which is nice.

Zombies is different for sure, but I'm almost through Act III of the story line. The next few quests are insane though, so I'm not sure when I will be clearing that. Although I just got the Wonderwaffle schematics, so that's a step in the right direction.

I've been enjoying the HC MP game modes. You can absolutely wreck with smgs and machine pistols in hardcore. Like it used to be back in the day. I have to say they did get MW3 right with how it feels compared to how MW was back in the xbox 360 days.

I've not been much of a fan of multiplayer. Just been doing zombies to level guns until Warzone comes out.

Love the multiplayer zombies. I hate that each round is 60 minutes. There are times where I just want a fresh match but feel stuck.

I wish there was split screen zombies/team deathmatch since the wife likes playing too.

I agree with RedBeard on the daily challenges vs experience points for weapons. We have only had MW3 for a couple days and I hate how limited the weapons are. I find myself just picking up others off the ground vs using what I have.

Overall enjoying it though!

You will indeed get wrecked, but you will also be able to kill much faster as well since the TTK (time to kill) is much less. No HUD either. HC is the only mode I used to play back in the day and its really good in this new MW3 again. HC headquarters, domination and search is a blast.
