Yeah....105th and Avenue F. Would ride my bike for hours over there....and put quarters on the train tracks to get flattened.

My grandparents lived there....so I spent a ton of time there as a kid. You're right....was more just poor than it was bad, but wasn't sure if it was still like that.
Quarters? Man you were privileged! Out here in the burbs best we could pull out of our pockets were pennies to flatten. 😂

What was the one that had an oyster shooter tube from the second floor down to the first. Waitress would drop an oyster and vodka down.

You had all the idiots who left their nice leather bomber jackets and other shit in their cars

Those are the ones, they weren’t all that rough as other complex’s but you could drive though them with no issue, which I have in the past due to traffic
Eh, yeah you might be able to drive thru the north side of them once and be okay. Not the horseshoe which was on the southside of the complex.
Those MFers would kill your ass and toss you in the river. Those Kings werent nothing to play with. Ive rolled thru their at night with some Deuces from Hamlin Park to do some dirt. One time we nearly got caught up, blew out a tire taking off, we had an angel on our shoulder that night.

I recall friends that would take radios, aftermarket hoods, wheels, basically strip cars in that area when they would parked in a pay lot or side street. The parking attendants would let this group know of cars in the lot , and get a few dollars for doing so.

Once time they stripped like 2-3 cars all fox body’s and when the owners came it to cars they robbed them for jackets and wallets lol .

Radios, amps, and subs were big money makers for us back then and you could take that shit quick af.
If we wanted the rims, we just took the whole fucking car, it was easier that way.
But why strip a Fox Body right there, they were sooooo fucking easy to steal, literally took 2 guys 2 minutes, actually closer to a minute

Bro we had Serbs in our neighborhood, I'm pretty sure they were affiliated with the Serbian Mob or some sort of organized crime.
We use to break into garages and steal bikes or tools and the Serbs would buy it all from us. Then they taught us how to steal Fox Bodies.
They started giving us $500 for every fox body we brought them. We started taking so many they had to tell us to slow down lol.

They had a body shop on Milwaukee where we took the cars. That body shop is still there and it hasnt changed in 30yrs, I bet they still have something to do with it. I remember they found a dead body in the sewer in their yard next door to their shop. Maaaan, when we found that out, we knew we were fucking with some serious dudes lol.
