My guess is the angle and color combo is just underwhelming.

I agree with Lead Pipe, silver car with brushed alum wheels is THEEE most boring color combo in existence. That could make literally any car look boring. BUT, what did they even change on this thing? Slightly wider side scoops and a barely-modified front bumper?

The base c8's just look a little awkward to me in person, figured they'd fix that with the c8z, apparently not. The wing will make a huge difference but I figured that'd be standard on the Z

Maybe the car will have a better stance, be wider, have sick wheel options and a badass looking spoiler......and GM's marketing department failed (again) and posted a pic that highlights absolutely nothing about the car.

The marketing department was too busy taking videos of morons making salads on their $5,000 tailgate in the middle of the woods, so for the c8z reveal they just had an intern use their iphone to take a pic of a car with no options then post it on IG

Looks darn good. It doesn’t look all winged out/boy racerish. It’s fast and looks classy doing it.

I was texting with dun4791 yesterday and he had a good point, if the z07 has different body panels than the z06 they fucked up

Supposedly this z06 is 2" wider in the front and 3" in the rear than the base, but you sure as hell can't tell that in the shitty pic they posted

Mmm I dunno I’ve heard feedback from people throwing these C8’s around the track and they are none too impressed with how the car goes in and out of curves.

Correct, every new generation surpasses the outgoing generation, with the exception of the C6 which I am told is a lateral move from the C5. ?

However, there are good reasons to take the C6Z over the C8Z.
1. Price point
2. 7.0 liters
3. Forged LS9 (ZR1)
4. Extensive aftermarket
5. Can be easily tuned
6. Looks better *subjective*
