Must be a subjective test of feel, balance, etc. Because the quantitative results speak otherwise.

Really surprised to see the M3 so far down -- For C/D, anyway. They've been swingin from that car, and BMW in general, for years and years.

It would be if they were allowed to use the M3 from different generations.

Especially the 3 series. Editors at Car and Driver choose the 3 series over anything else  :nutz: *cue latest commercial*

THE 60402, LIKE THE O.C., ONLY BETTER
I sub to the mag because I get it for like 5 buck a year, but it is sad when the world basically knows that Porshe wins ever contest unless a Ferrari is involved (gotta kiss Ferrari's ass or they might never let you drive another one). I did the research B.M.W. bought out C/D many years ago....J/K

I'm surprised they didn't put the Honda Accord at the top of the list.

They swing off that car almost as much as BMW.

To the boxsters credit it did lose a bunch of weight and gain some power for this year

Almost.
Just to start an argument... the Z06 was faster than the GTR :noes:
GT-R = overrated To make them perform like the mags you have to void the factory warranty by activating launch control. So many people b*tched about it Nissan took that option away and now the GT-R is slower. In 20 years there will be 2 kinds of GT-R. The garage queens that made it, assuming it didn't have an electronic meltdown. And the ones that were beat on. Those will be picked for parts, because this thing is clearly not going to be worth rebuilding.

Last time I checked, launch control didn't affect road course times. Plus, IIRC, guys are still pulling crazy fast times at the dragstrip without launch control.
