Alright so i think its time i bite the bullet and purchase. I'd like to keep it in my garage and possibly vent it out. And i don't want to get crazy on the price. What do you guys suggest?

Also OffshoreDrilling is looking for one for his apartment. thoughts?

Why does it have to be in the garage? I use mine in my back yard in all weather conditions. This is what I have and I swear by it. I have referred 5-6 friends who had electric smokers, and or Weber smokers and all of them are very happy with it. In fact each and everyone of them sold their old smokers after using this one. Customer service is top notch, if you have a problem or just a question call them up and your talking to the owner. It's a tad bit quicker than a "traditional" smoker as most barrels are, but comes out just as good imo.

I have an electric and love it. But wouldn't fuck with venting. I'd just add some caster wheels under the stand

Don't get a pellet fired. I've got a $1k Green mountain and it's impossible to get a smoke flavor

Tried smoking a brisket yesterday outside in my Bradley 4 rack smoker.... wouldn’t get Warner than 107 degrees. Ended up throwing in the oven to somewhat save it. Came out ok...nothing special

I've been using my CampChef 24DLX and it's been perfect. Using exclusively with Cookin' Pellets Perfect Mix from Racine, WI. Smoke flavor is good & solid, last cook I supplemented with an A-MAZE-EN Pellet Tube as well that I already had, even better flavor. All I did was add a gasket to the lid & it'd held temp fairly well. Just cooked a pizza for lunch and it held 400* with ease even though it's 4* outside and a bit windy by me. Things been great and looks perfect next to the Weber Kettle.

I have a Weber Smokey Mountain

Great smoker, very good job maintaining temp, easy to break down / clean.
