NO. lol

case, valve body separator plate, and rear piston are all that got damaged in the unit. even the tail housing is ok. well.. the speed sensor is fucked, but the housing is ok.

this was caused by a driveshaft failure, it came apart in 3rd gear at about 6200rpm. dyno operator is completely fine.

driveshaft company is footing the bill for the repair to drivetrain and body of the car, too. THANK FUCKING CHRIST.

One does enough projects and from time to time for whatever reason, things go sideways.

Owning up and paying out fully is the stand up thing to do.

I could see Pep Boys (etc.) sending them a new driveshaft and washing their hands.

Floors are just pretty beat, and exhaust was removed by force. I don't want to post pics of the car without owner's consent.
