I'll update the plugin. Beyond that, not much I can do.

Nuked chrome completely. All Application data in ~/Library/Application Support/, and ~/Library/Preferences/
Played video without logging in, no shrink.
Logged in, played same video, player shrunk.

Also confirmed this behavior on Windows 11 with Chrome.

So nuking your preferences is unlikely to help, my original thought has been proven false.

Works fine. It DOES shrink while it's hidden behind the read more CTA but works fine.

FYI, same behavior on iOS 16.3.1, regardless of browser. Yeah, it shrinks after it loads and does the "Click to read more". Odd.

Click to read more is what you should be seeing. Click it and the video should expand.

That's the android app.

Happens all the time too.

But since I've moved to Brave since the app would crash my phone too with instagram embeds.

There is the app that is available in the Play store...that is an actual app.

And then there is the "app" that you can trigger by saving the site to your homescreen via Chrome or Brave, for example.

Uninstall both and then just install via your browser of choice by "add to home screen".
