I enjoyed them when I was a kid. I rewatched it as an adult and I must say, I missed some of the themes the first time around. haha But still great movies.

Clint Eastwood used to say that those were his favorite movies that he was in. You would think it would be some big blockbuster. Like Paul Newman saying his favorite movie to film was Slap Shot.

I can imagine light-hearted silly/funny movies are a lot of fun to film. As I am sure the behind the scenes is the same kind of athmosphere.

Interesting info I found out while watching Chimp Crazy(Basically tiger king with chimps) is that Hollywood can no longer use live chimps in movies.Movies need more primate sidekicks! I loved Clyde!

So they are all CGI or someone in a suit now.
Probably because chimps basically rip people's faces off when they snap.
