I know in the 2020 Surpa thread I mentioned they should have called it the Celica. Since the Celica had some pretty great offerings and rally inspitred car. Well this is one of the cars I was thinking about. The 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four. All-wheel drive, 5-speed manual trans, and 252 horse power.

This 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four is one of 2,500 homologation examples built for the model year to allow Toyota to enter the car in Group A of the World Rally Championship. This car—one of 2,100 Japanese-market examples—is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 3S-GTE inline-four paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and a permanent all-wheel-drive system and is finished in black over gray cloth. Features exclusive to the GT-Four model include an anti-lag system and factory aero. The seller imported the car to the US in early 2019 and has added approximately 1,500 kilometers (~900 miles) of the 113k (~70k miles) shown. This ST205 GT-Four is now offered with the removed factory steering wheel and front strut-tower brace, import documents, three keys, factory literature, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is finished in Black (202) and features GT-Four–only details including a unique front bumper cover with integrated fog lights, a spoiler behind the hood for the windshield wipers, and a factory trunk-mounted rear wing. The seller notes that the hood and front bumper appear to have had some paintwork performed. The paint and exterior trim are detailed in the photo gallery below, and the seller reports a bubble in the paint near the headlights, fading on the roof, and cracks shown near the antenna.

Silver 15″ Racing Hart 7G7 wheels are mounted with 215/50 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires, and curb rash can be seen on some of the wheels. A factory-upgraded suspension and disc brakes are equipped.

The interior features bolstered seats upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts paired with black door panels and black carpeting (F020). The seller notes a crack in the plastic trim inside the trunk, and a replacement shift boot will accompany the sale.

A leather-wrapped Nardi Personal steering wheel with red stitching fronts Japanese-market factory instrumentation including a 180-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, as well as gauges for monitoring boost pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 113k kilometers (~70k miles).

The Japanese-market turbocharged 2.0-liter 3S-GTE inline-four produced 252 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 223 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm when new and features an intercooler with a water sprayer and an anti-lag system. Shifting is handled by a close-ratio E154 five-speed manual gearbox, and power is sent through a permanent all-wheel-drive system that features a viscous center coupling and a torque-sensing rear differential. The oil was reportedly changed in May 2019.
