I hate having a single, shared bathroom upstairs. It's the "master" but has two doors, one into the master bedroom and another into the hallway, so much wasted space because of it. It's infuriating.

I'm just jealous is all.

how close is the next closest bathroom then? down the stairs?

so like you couldn't wall off the hallway door?

Only other bathroom is downstairs and it's a half. With some creative thinking/shower only, it could be a full bath.

I've thought about walling off the MBR door and the entire bathroom could be restructured and opened way up. I've even though about taking some space out of the MBR closet to widen the bathroom and then cutting it in half to make 2 full bathrooms.

I'm also not going to drop a ton of money into a house I don't like and the only way to make me like it is to drop serious coin. So a vicious circle. And I still hate not having a basement, so all of it is moot.

My wife wanted a greenhouse to keep some of her plants in that don't like wind very well. I built this for her. It's like $100 in lumber and screws and $800 worth of Lexan. That stuff is pricy.

Lexan is polycarbonate. So to explain this a bit, it's not supposed to yellow and it's super strong. They claim it will last 10 years or more.

If I had just used plexiglass, I'd guess that I would have to replace it every other year. Not only that, but it's super hard to find 4x8 sheets of that stuff. Home depot had this in stock.
