I’m a sucker for the 78-87 G-Bodies. Especially the Grand Prix’s, followed by the Regal, then the Cutlass. Monte’s never did much for me, except the SS.TCG only likes the boomermobiles and new cars. ? Here's a few for them. LomileWE-2 thanks for stopping me to chat! It was nice meeting you.View attachment 119631

I love that car. You know he drives that thing there all the way from PA? He's got some balls. Lol. He was telling us that he had to do an HEI conversion on the road this year.
Looks like a 78, I had a black 78 two door just like this one. Iirc mine had a SBC 400 in it.One of my favorites from the show. It's not often you see such a nice LeSabre Sport Coupe.

...and a whole lot less common to see one with a proper drivetrain swap. This must be a nice cruiser.

That's my number 1 favorite part about the event! I agree. Racecars are typically not my thing. However, there is a lot of extra pride and craftsmanship at the Nats that you don't typically see elsewhere. Yet these aren't pro-street cars that just putt around in parades. They're raced, beaten, broken, and gorgeous.I told the guy driving it that I wasn't really into race cars but that one was just so damn nice I had to tell him. It was running 9's as the registration states it does.
